Located in Trois-Rivières (Ste-Marthe-du-Cap sector), Ferme Chasseur-cueilleur is a brewery farm with nearly 40 acres of cereal crops, berries and hops. In addition to its craft beer production and bed & breakfast, Ferme Chasseur-cueilleur offers activities for the whole family, with its mini-farm and animal rides (goats, alpacas and more).
The non-repayable contribution, as part of the Tourism Small Business Assistance Project, will enable the Ferme Chasseur-cueilleur to offer a higher-quality tourism offering to its visitors, and to improve the quality of the equipment made available to them, such as bicycles, to discover the different cultures, snowshoes, picnic tables, to eat on site. The project also includes the installation of signs identifying the various animals. The contribution will also enable the Ferme Chasseur-cueilleur to expand its accommodation offering by adding an additional room to its La ruée vers l’orge bed and breakfast.
The financial assistance awarded to this young start-up company will enable it to carry out work that would otherwise not have been possible so quickly, for the benefit of visitors.
